Brad Irwin
Brad Irwin has been a Spirit enthusiast for many years. A former bartender, he enjoys bourbon and rye whiskeys as well as vodkas. Brad is a long time Bend resident and has owned several successful businesses. Currently, he is founding an artisan distillery in Bend that will produce whiskey, vodka, and absinthe. Brad is married and has a four year old daughter who is bright, bossy and full of enthusiasm.
Kathy Irwin
Kathy enjoys a well-crafted cocktail and currently the Cosmo is her favorite. She enjoys exploring all kinds of spirits and loves to try new drinks. She is happily married to Brad and enjoys being mother to their “bright and bossy” daughter and her fabulous 22-year old son! She works as an aesthetician and make-up artist at Anjou Spa and Salon in Bend.

Lance Hardy
Lance hampered his enjoyment of good Spirits right out of the gates by having his first MAJOR hangover on Jack Daniels at 18. After a good fifteen years of recovery he was able to smell bourban and scotch again without much trouble – in fact the appreciation hit with a vengeance. Lance owes his respect and love for fine Spirits to a kindred spirit – wine. The art of crafting a fine wine and the elegance and fun of wine tasting took hold and opened up new vistas of the tasting experience.

Nichole Schirm
Nichole, the youngest member of the club, thoroughly enjoys a well-rounded and distinct alcoholic beverage to consume in the presence of friends and family or alone for a nice, quiet evening at home. Growing up in the restaurant business she has learned to appreciate a variety of spirits and cocktails and she continues to expand her knowledge by tasting and discussing different brands and styles of liquors. Though an avid fan of tequila and whiskey, preferably straight, she also enjoys dirty martinis, red wine and dark beer. Cheers!
Jon Dude
Jon Dude a high desert transplant from Nashville Tn. Invoked a life long passion for distilled spirits upon his return from the gulf war in 91’. Irish whiskey, bourbon, vodka or a nice dark rum top his favorites list, Brandies, schnapps and tequila not so much. Jon’s hobbies include Screen-printing, metal & leather work, motorcycles, small batch home Distilling and napping with his English bulldogs. Also an ordained minister he has more than a dozen weddings under his collar. He enjoys Spirit club meetings with his lovely fiancé becki.
Becky Spor
In order to finance her on-going schooling Becki has shaken a cocktail or two at some great dive bars here in C. Oregon, not to mention catered parties around town. A fan of English Bulldogs and pint glasses full of premium Vodka. Becki knows good spirit from bad, and is not shy about voicing her opinion about Booze. Come down and discuss the merits of well drinks and jello-shots VS. top shelf at Players Bar and grill Wednesdays and Friday evenings.
Jason Hamlin
Jason Hamlin has been a spirit enthusiast since he tasted his first real martini after the 1995 showing of “Golden Eye”. At the early age of only 24, Jason’s appreciation of a perfectly mixed spirit began. Since then he has tried an amazing array of spirits and continues to love the complexity of each differing varietal. Jason has also visited wine country (Napa and Willamette) for an even deeper appreciation of the amazing complexities of all types of fine liquors. Jason is currently the Microsoft Senior Software Architect at the Les Schwab Headquarters in Bend and is the proud father of 4 amazing boys.
Jannetta Westmoreland
Jannetta enjoys experiencing many different spirits. Her favorite is vodka. She enjoys a perfectly mixed cocktail and loves trying new drinks. Her favorite drink is Jason’s Special Cosmo that he originally made for her on their first date in Bend. She has recently begun enjoying wine tasting as well and has been on several wine tasting trips. Jannetta enjoys being a mother to her two amazing boys and a grandma to her two beautiful grandchildren. She works in the IT department at the Les Schwab Headquarters in Bend and is currently wrapping up her Bachelors in Business Information Management.
Kathleen McDonald
Kathleen is the life of the party and truly enjoys her spirits! Crown Royal being one of her favorites, (with One-Eyed Jack in close runnings!) Kathleen has been an aesthetician and make-up artist for over 16 years and currently works at Anjou Spa and Salon as well as the Northwest Medi-Spa as a medical aesthetician. She is an active and passionate outdoorswoman. Spending many hours, boating, camping, biking, hiking, fishing and kayaking. She loves her life with her 3 children and is soon to become a Grandmother for the first time.
